The Kells Adventure Continues
December 9, 2010The Blue-eyed Bear is hungry for salmon and she has found them in abundance in the Book of Kells. The Greek word for fish icthus is an anagram for Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. And the fish symbolic of the Christ has been used since the 2nd century. The Kells serpents too, are thought to be a symbol of the resurrection as the snake is renewed to life by shedding its skin or physical body . The BE Bear just finds the Kells serpents supportive and the fish tasty! What more could a bear want!
